Why We Built DugsiAI
Education should never depend on where a student lives, the language they speak, or whether they can afford expensive private tutoring.
We built DugsiAI because millions of Ethiopian students struggle to succeed under an education system where English is the primary medium of instruction. While students may attend school every day, many find it difficult to understand lessons, build strong subject knowledge, and confidently answer examination questions because they first have to overcome the language barrier.
DugsiAI supports every student from Grade 7 through Grade 12 following the new Ethiopian national curriculum. Instead of simply providing answers, DugsiAI helps students build concepts in their own language, gradually strengthen their academic English vocabulary, and develop the confidence to learn, think, and solve problems in English.
